Phillip Phillips Postpones Important Kidney Operation Again
After enduring months of excruciating pain to stay in the competition for season 11 of "American Idol", it looks like Phillip Philips will once again have to delay an extremely important kidney surgery.
Due to massive stones in his right kidney the 21-year-old was set to go under the knife on Wednesday (May 29), but due to a sinus infection that caused him to have a high temperature doctors advised that he delay.
Phillips' girlfriend Hannah Blackwell took to her Twitter page yesterday to confirm the news writing, "Phillip?s surgery is not tomorrow, He will be fine when it is scheduled and is excited for tour. Thanks for your concern and respect.? Today (May 29) the rock star also expressed his feelings via his social media page tweeting, "Good days, bad days...you're gonna have them."
Throughout the three month competition the singer/songwriter's father Phillip Phillips Sr. told People magazine that he endured multiple surgeries explaining, "Eight operations since we started ?American Idol? ? He?s hitting 50 percent, but he?s still up there swinging away.?
Once Phillip re-schedules the procedure the recovery will last "probably two to four weeks" according to his father and the proud dad can't wait to see him then saying, "He?s healthy, he?s good. His kidneys are good. I can?t wait for America and the whole world to see him, because he?s a big cut-up. He?s going to have some fun.?
Regardless of the recovery time, the southern singer says nothing will keep him from the "Idol" top 10 tour in July gushing, ?I?m not going to be missing anything. I?ll be 100 percent by then, so I?m excited.?

Ace Young proposed to Diana DeGarmo on the American Idol finale! Normally the finale is an emotional episode because we get to find out whose dreams will be coming true, but this time around it was over the top. This one is hard for me to believe. I remember watching Diana DeGarmo way back in season three, when she was just sixteen or seventeen years old. Back then she was the youngest on the show, and her voice was SO beautiful I couldn?t have imagined that she wouldn?t win. Unfortunately it turned out that she was only a runner-up, but her career went pretty well afterwards anyway. As for Ace, you may remember him as one of the past rock-style singers from the show. "I love the classics, I'm afraid. I like Van Halen, I gotta pick Van Halen," he continued. "Oh, and of course, Mumford and Sons. On her 'loud' personality: ?I am quite loud and bolshie,? she says (British slang for unruly and clamorous). ?I?m a big personality. I walk into a room, big and tall and loud.? Indeed. There is no doubt when Adele is in the building. The rule of thumb for protecting one?s vocal cords, she tells me, is: If people are more than an arm?s length away, you shouldn?t talk to them. ?But I am like, Wah! Wah! Wah!,? she says, laughing. ?It?s really bad.?
On giving up drinking last May: ?Don?t like drinking anymore. I think I got it out of my system. D?yaknowhaImean??
On her vocal troubles: ?I?ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I?ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it.? She flew to London the next morning to see her doctor and was diagnosed with acute laryngitis. After a couple weeks? rest, she continued her European tour, came to America, and then her voice went again in May. ?That was a hemorrhage... a burst blood vessel on my vocal cord. That healed, I did a tour, and then it happened again at my best friend?s wedding on October 1.?
On getting support through her surgery from other artists: ?John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did and he really helped me be chilled out about it. Roger Daltrey?s had loads of stuff done; Steven Tyler reached out; Elton John. Lots of artists have had problems with their voices, but you don?t know about it. And they are still singing incredibly well in their 50s and 60s.?
On her six Grammy nominations: ?I burst into tears when I found out. And I would love, absolutely love, to win. This record is coming to an end, and that would be the final brick on it.? [gallery=821]

Red Hot Chili Peppers Reschedule Tour
Dates pushed back due to singer Anthony Kiedis' foot injuries.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/red_hot_chili_peppers/artist.jhtml" target="_blank">Red Hot Chili Peppers</a> fans have waited this long to hear the band play songs from their Grammy-nominated latest release, <I>I'm With You</I>. And they're going to have to wait a bit longer. The band announced on Wednesday that it has been forced to reschedule the <a href="/news/articles/1674990/red-hot-chili-peppers-tour.jhtml">previously announced dates</a>
 for it's U.S. tour due to foot injuries suffered by singer Anthony Kiedis. According to a release announcing the new dates, Kiedis, 49, recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot. Right after Club Paradise's last show in Boston, Massachusetts, Drizzy will begin recording new music, possibly for his next album.</P><P>"I'm really excited to start working on new music. It's a good song though; produced by Hit-Boy."</P><P>Well, Drake doesn't have to worry. On Monday, the Biebs unveiled his <a href="/news/articles/1685471/justin-bieber-believe-track-list.jhtml"><i>Believe</i> track list</a>, and his fellow Canadian does appear on the song "Right Here." Beyonce Calls Faked Pregnancy Rumors 'So Stupid'
'It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy,' she tells People in the magazine's Most Beautiful issue.

<P>Back in October, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/news.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> shot down a rumor that she was wearing a fake baby bump after an appearance on an <a href="/news/articles/1672384/beyonce-baby-bump.jhtml">Australian talk show</a>. When Beyoncé sat down for the interview, it appeared that the bump deflated, prompting many to wonder if the pop singer was really pregnant or faking it.</P><P>Now, months after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, Beyoncé is talking to <i>People</i> magazine, about the gossip. "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," she says in the Most Beautiful issue, in which she was named the world's <a href="/news/articles/1683832/beyonce-people-most-beautiful-woman.jhtml">Most Beautiful Woman</a>, <a href="http://www.tvguide.com/News/Beyonce-Calls-Fake-1046635.aspx" target="_blank">TVGuide.com reports</a>. "[I thought] 'Where did they come up with this?' It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Her mother also opened up about the allegations in the interview, adding, "I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother, it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."</P><P>In the magazine, out now, Queen B addressed not only the baby bump controversy, but also her commitment to <a href="/news/articles/1683910/beyonce-heels-pre-baby-people-magazine.jhtml">being sexy</a>, even at nine months. "I committed to the end and wore my kitten heels. It makes me laugh thinking about it," she said. "But after many hours of labor, I didn't care how I looked. Jessica Alba: Pretty In Pastel
Proving just why she's one of the biggest fashion icons, Jessica Alba was spotted out and about with a friend in Beverly Hills, CA on Tuesday afternoon (May 22).
The gorgeous brunette looked chic in a multi-color outfit as she rocked coral skinny jeans, a mint green top and denim vest as she lunched with a friend at Le Pain Quotidien which caused quite the paparazzi frenzy.
In other news, as previously reported by GossipCenter, the mom of two is the June 2012 cover girl for Marie Claire magazine where she opens up about everything from fashion, family, parenting and her business "The Honest Company."
When talking about her company, which she has been working on for the last three and a half years, the 31-year-old explains where the idea came from and why it's so important to her adding, "I took a year off from acting when I had Honor, and I was home with her, diapering her, cleaning up after her, and I had a real frustration that I couldn't find healthy, nontoxic, and affordable products that actually worked. So I decided I needed to do something about it while my family and friends have young children."
Besides getting inspiration to start an eco-friendly empire, the "X-Men" star explains that being a mom also helped her in growing up and understanding her sexiness saying, "Now that I'm older, I've learned how to own it, but I'm still not very overt. There are some women who dress for men. I dress for myself. It took me some time to get here. Being a mom and feeling grown-up have helped. Now if I'm going to wear something short, it has to have a high neck or a little sci-fi toughness to it, an edge."

<P>It's being billed as "the biggest live music event in radio history" (whatever that means), and so, the organizers of the brand-new <a href="http://www.iheartradio.com/cc-common/iheartradio-music-festival/" target="_blank">iHeartRadio Festival</a> have pulled out all the stops, delivering a lineup that's appropriately loaded with some of the biggest stars in the business.</P><P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a>, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/coldplay/artist.jhtml">Coldplay</a>, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/minaj__nicki/artist.jhtml">Nicki Minaj</a>, the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_eyed_peas/artist.jhtml">Black Eyed Peas</a>, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/keys_alicia/artist.jhtml">Alicia Keys</a>, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/underwood__carrie/artist.jhtml">Carrie Underwood</a> and Steven Tyler are just <i>some</i> of the acts set to appear at the inaugural I Heart Radio fest, scheduled for September 23 and 24 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. They'll be joined on the bill by the likes of Kenny Chesney, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lopez_jennifer/artist.jhtml">Jennifer Lopez</a>, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, <a href="/news/articles/1667029/kelly-clarkson-songs-leak.jhtml">Kelly Clarkson</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/mayer_john/artist.jhtml">John Mayer</a> (to name just a few).</P><P>Organizers promise that even more artists will be added to the bill as the summer stretches on. Beyonce 'Committed' To Wearing Heels Until Giving Birth
'It makes me laugh thinking about it,' singer tells People of her pre-baby beauty regime.

In the days leading up to the <a href="/news/articles/1676906/beyonce-jay-z-baby-born-ivy-blue.jhtml">birth of her baby, Blue Ivy</a>, Queen B was <a href="/news/articles/1676647/beyonce-pregnant-new-years.jhtml">spotted around New York</a> with her hubby, Jay-Z, and her stilettos. <a href="/news/articles/1683832/beyonce-people-most-beautiful-woman.jhtml"><i>People</i> magazine's Most Beautiful Woman</a> has opened up about wanting to stay as glam as possible, right up until she went into labor.</P><P>"I didn't feel that I looked beautiful during birth — but who does? After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight, with my swollen lips and cheeks, I barely recognized myself," she said in the issue hitting newsstands Friday, <a href="http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/beyonce/view/45626/" target="_blank">Pressparty.com</a> reports. It was all about the miracle that God gave me — the opportunity to deliver a human being."</P><P>Beyoncé may not have felt hot in the hospital, but fans were certainly surprised by how hot she looked for her first post-baby appearance, hitting the New York party scene to celebrate <a href="/news/articles/1678726/beyonce-post-baby-appearance-blue-ivy.jhtml">Jay-Z's Carnegie Hall shows</a> in February, weeks after giving birth. The singer herself was surprised by how quickly she managed to look so good.</P><P>"I'm proud that my waist came back so fast. ... I had to get my tone back. I'm definitely softer," she said. "But I feel my body bouncing back. Whatever was tight and muscular, like my legs, I'm seeing it come back. You just have to work at it."</P><P>Beyoncé will return to the stage next month for several shows in Atlantic City. She's also reportedly working on new music to follow up 2011's <i>4.</i></p>
